Thanks to his friendly and warm nature, he has formed friendships with several prominent figures.
Among them are political leaders such as French and European members of parliament, senators, ministers, regional and departmental councilors, as well as mayors and presidents of Community Councils.
He also enjoys the trust of high religious authorities, including archbishops, a bishop, and religious leaders, notably the Rector of the Strasbourg Mosque and the President of the Muslim Council of Alsace.

Thanks to his friendly and warm nature, he has forged friendships with both political leaders and religious figures.
Through his approachable yet serious demeanor, he has built relationships over many years with political personalities from all backgrounds, ministers, French and European MPs, senators, regional and departmental councilors, mayors, and presidents of community councils, as well as high-ranking religious leaders, such as archbishops, a bishop, the rector of the Strasbourg Mosque, and the president of the Muslim Council of Alsace.
Furthermore, other public figures from various countries also show him their trust.
During a family evening, Mahir AKKAYA presented a unique mosaic painting to Joseph DAUL, former president of the European People’s Party, and his wife. Enchanted by the beauty of the artwork “Mary Holding the Infant Jesus”, they decided to donate it to the Sanctuary of Mont Sainte-Odile, where it is now on display. Patrick KOEHLER, the rector of the site, expressed particular admiration for the painting.
The DAUL couple strongly encouraged Mahir AKKAYA to pursue a patronage initiative. Following their advice, he reached out to his political and religious contacts, to whom he presented his paintings. All were unanimously impressed by the beauty and originality of these masterpieces.
All of his connections agreed to write letters of recommendation and meeting requests to facilitate his patronage search. These letters, true testimonials of trust, have no specific recipient or date, allowing Mahir AKKAYA to use them as he sees fit.
For him, these supports represent a source of pride and recognition of his efforts. He is deeply grateful for all the assistance and trust that have been given to him and expresses his sincerest gratitude for this invaluable support, which has been a constant source of comfort.
Local, national, and international media (print, television, radio, Internet) have widely covered this initiative (see the “Press” section on the website).
All letters of thanks, recommendations, and meeting requests are available on the website. If you wish to view them, please submit your request to Mahir AKKAYA using the contact form.
